I have a wide range of experience as a criminal defense trial lawyer, having represented defendants in murder, assault, robbery, kidnapping, sex, drug, DUII, traffic, white collar and other crimes. This work has been in state and federal court. If you have a problem in this area, the most important initial advice is that you not talk to the police, that you not consent to a search of your person, home or car, and that you get a lawyer right away. Even though you may know that you are innocent, your words may be misinterpreted or misunderstood, and you may create a problem for yourself which you otherwise wouldn’t have. The Founding Fathers gave you the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Amendments for a reason. Use them.
